Jars of Clay

It seems as though Jars of Clay will be playing in Calgary in February (as well as in Surrey, BC) as part of their Good Monsters tour.

Something does seem a little fishy though - if you look at an events calendar you might note that both Switchfoot and Jars of Clay are listed as being in Calgary the same night, playing shows within half an hour of each other, and both in MacEwan Hall at the U of C. Either the U of C has more concert space in MacEwan Hall than I thought, the Jars of Clay will be playing one song at most, or somewhere some dates or times got mixed up.

Interesting... it looks like this the date of this concert is during reading week which means that I won't be stuck running a tutorial that evening.

Speaking of concerts, Meat Loaf is playing a few dates around our area (Vancouver, Kelowna, Edmonton, Victoria). We've got tickets for the March 3 show at the Pacific Coliseum!!

I'm not crazy...oh, wait, nevermind.

For any folks in Calgary reading this site, I heard back from the concert production company that Mac Hall apparently does have the space to host two concurrent concerts. I'm aware of the ballroom as one venue... and I think that there is another upstairs ballroom that might be big enough to host another so maybe that's where each will be.
