St. David's day

Just felt obliged to mention that the Reformation21 blog is noting that today happens to be St. David's day. (Wikipedia has more information on this holiday).

Of course, it's named after someone other than I (and not the David spoken of in the Bible either)

For those (like me) with a cell phone contract...

It looks like number portability is coming to a cell phone near you in March. This should make this a little bit better when my cell contract expires (although it's still got over 18 months left on it).

That said, I don't expect to find a cell phone plan as good as the one that I'm presently on...

The "Lost Tomb of Jesus" documentary

I don't know if any of you have been following along the news stories (here's one example) regarding this documentary produced by James Cameron (director of the movie Titanic), and entitled "The Lost Tomb of Jesus".

This seems rather obviously a money-making scheme more than anything in any remote sense credible. According to Canada.com, even the director by himself doesn't seem to claim anything more than a scant 0.00005% probability that this hypothesis is correct. And, even then, you know what they say about statistics...
