Canadians should brace for a bitter winter, Environment Canada said on Friday, forecasting an unusually cold season for much of the country for the first time in more than a decade

The federal weather agency said it expects below normal temperatures for most regions this winter.

Yeah, something like the harshest one in the last 15 years or so...anybody remember the blizzard of '96? That winter (96-97) was the last good cold one, with lots of snow that we had. That said, -10 is gonna be mighty cold in the canyon tomorrow!
