Forgetting to read the dictionary

I've been feeling a bit peeved with the folks at the White Horse Inn lately. This week it was a different thing that annoyed me about the show, but on their second last show they seemed to be treating interviewees unfairly and setting up a false dilemna. If you ask someone to define a word and don't clarify further, any of the multiple different definitions you might find in a dictionary should be an acceptable answer.

This also seems to be what the federal vision advocates seem to also be arguing - that their critics have forgotten to read the dictionary. I haven't read deeply enough on the issue yet to be able to come to any conclusions worthy of sharing, but incidents like these factor in the federal vision's favour.
