Spain: Sephardi Jews to receive instant citizenship
So... if you can prove your ancestors were Jews evicted from Spain in 1492 it means you can instantly be granted Spanish citizenship if you apply. How far back can you go trying to right wrongs? Over 500 years (~ 20 generations) seems a little ridiculous. Just think about how much the world map has changed since that time... (and how terrible recordkeeping would be from over that time period). Of course, given that they're offering residency to anyone buying an average-priced house, they may be desperate for get people into the country.
