A couple new toys

  • 32 gig iPod touch - initial thoughts: I'm not sure if Steve Jobs has ever been on the Canadian prairies in winter. Web Access from the phone is cool and the mic in the headphones seems to work reasonably well. How do you bookmark a position in a song (as opposed to an audiobook)? Testing out an MP3-format audiobook (and hence not recognized as an audiobook by the iPod)
  • Canon SX-120IS - current-gen replacement for my older SX-100IS. The last one survived a bunch of crazy falls, and been halfway around the world, so I didn't feel too bad about buying another even though the SX100 was less than two years old. The SX-100IS has been starting to give me lens errors lately

Now to figure out how to get to the airport, given that my chauffeur is fleeing the country...
